– Sometimes two builds of the same version are released, the first type being CPU (short for Critical Patch Updates) and PSU (short for Patch Set Updates). CPU contains important updates and is recommended for most users. The version with the older build is the one; for example, Update 79 is for CPU and Update 80 is for PSU.
– Version 7 is the last version offered for Windows XP.
– Before installing this tool, install the desired browser or browsers.
– It is better to install the 32-bit edition in addition to the 64-bit version on 64-bit Windows to include 32-bit software.
– It is recommended to remove this tool’s updater from the Windows Startup programs list after installation; to do this, enter msconfig.exe in the Start menu and then run it, go to the Startup tab and uncheck Java™ Platform SE Auto Updater; this is also easily possible with Windows optimization and management software. You can also disable the JRE update through the administrative section of this tool in the Windows Control Panel so that you do not encounter annoying update messages that are ineffective due to the Iranian IP being blocked.
