Description
Lansweeper is a software for managing IT assets and scanning network-connected devices. This software can scan, identify and catalog all IP-based network devices and Windows, Linux and Mac workstations. The deep scanning engine of this software uses a set of different protocols to identify and receive data from every device connected to the network. All received data can be stored in a SQL Compact or SQL Server database.
Lansweeper software has an open database design, so reporting is done using standard SQL Server database querying and can be created visually using the software’s built-in tools. In addition to monitoring software and hardware, this tool has other features such as a development module for software distribution, updating or scripting on Windows computers, and support for a ticket system.
